I love Sunbeams!

I just was called as a Sunbeam teacher in my ward. I absolutely love it. They are just so sweet. It is so nice to be able to spend some time with these sweet little kids. Sam and I haven't been able to have children of our own yet so this is the perfect medicine that I get a little dose of every week.

One of the many reason I love the Sunbeams happened last week in class. The lesson was on prayer. We talked about Daniel in the Lion's Den. This was part of the discussion.

Me: Do you think the lions hurt Daniel after he prayed to Heavenly Father in the Lions Den?

Jonathan: Mario and Luigi could get those lions so they won't hurt Daniel.

Me: Yes, Jonathan. I am sure they probably could.

I just love these kids!

So cute! We teach the "older" nursery and they say the funniest things. I'll bet they love having you as their teacher!

Ginger,

Did you know that Rachelle is teaching Sunbeams now also? I think she is getting used to the little kids and really liking it. I like it because I have Benja during Sunday School and Priesthood. I love to hang out with him for 3 hours straight.

Love you,

Paul

So cute! I'm glad you love your calling. I'm sure the parents just love you teaching their children also. You're awesome Ginger and all of these experiences will make you an even better Mom when it happens!

Shout out to Mario and Luigi! That would be so fun to teach that age. Sometimes I am sad that my ward has only 3 kids in it, and they're all under 1 year old.

I liked teaching sunbeams forever ago. They are cute and so smart!!! That is what always surprises and amazes me. I think that's what makes it so fun, too. Kids are just smart!!

That is so funny and cute! It's always gret to hear what they have to say. Here's a question you should ask them: What would you do if you saw a smart fox? My sister always likes to ask kids this because their response are so funny!
