My first dentist visit!

Sam has started working on real people at dental school this semester and he was finally able to have me come to be one of his patients. I went in on Tuesday and he took x-rays of all of my teeth. It was fun to be there and see his school and everything that he does there. I have been by his school before but never inside. On Wednesday, he checked my x-rays to what is wrong with my teeth and then he cleaned them. I wasn't nervous for him to clean my teeth but next Friday Sam is going to be filling one of my cavities. I will be a little nervous for him to inject me. It will be one of his first! I am sure he will do great. I forgot to take a picture of Sam in his scrubs but here is a picture of me in the dentist chair and my x-rays are right behind.

Twilight!!

I may as well add to the millions of other posts about the movie. I went and saw this movie last night with ladies from my ward. It was a fun night out. There were about 12-15 of us. We went to eat some Mexican food and then to the movie. Looking around in the theater, it was mostly teenage girls so I knew we were in for a treat. It was so funny to hear them chat and cheer during the movie. The movie turned out to be a lot better than I expected it to be. I did have low expectations and am glad I was pleasantly surprised. I am looking forward to the next one. I have been talking to different people about the movie throughout today and Sam says we are just like "Trekkies". I don't care, I am proud to be a Twilight nerd!

Mario is the Best!!

My sister Cami and her husband Juan recently had a Mario Marathon. They inspired me to do it myself. I beat Mario 1, 2 & 3 but I did over the last couple of week not in a couple of nights. It was a great activity to do while Sam was studying. I forgot how fun they were. It brought back all of the Nintendo playing memories growing up. I just love these Mario games. Thanks for the idea Cami! It was a lot of fun!

A Few of My Favorite Things

Do you ever have some things in your house that you just couldn't live without? I just wanted to share of few of mine with you.

First, our can opener. I love this thing. You just have to put it on the can press the button and it takes over and does the rest. It works every time. My mom gave it to us as a Christmas present last year and I really couldn't live without it now. It is really great if you have to open multiple cans, my hand gets tired after a while.
Second, my candle lamp. I used to use a candle warmer but I always hated it because I could never smell the candle until the whole thing was melted down. With this candle lamp, you can smell it right when you turn on the lamp and it is a really cute decoration also. I use this almost every day to keep my apartment fresh smelling! I have a million Salt City candles that I have to prove to Sam they aren't a waste of money.The last thing is my shower bug. I love listening to music and this makes showering so much more enjoyable. I got this from my sister, Heather a couple years ago and still love it.You gotta love the simple things in life!!
