Sam finally had his first official patient today. He has been working now for a few weeks but he had to wait on some licensing stuff before he could legally work patients. He has just been able to shadow the other doctor and was starting to get very bored and was anxious to get some hands on work. I am so exited for him and am so glad that the ladies in the office thought to take a picture of his first patient. That was so thoughtful. It will be nice when he gets into the swing of things and it is just second nature to him.

Ah look at Sam all grown up and a Dentist. He's come a long way from those BYU-I days huh? How nice to be finally done with school and on to a profession. I'm jealous!
I'm pretty excited for you guys too! He looks super official. What a relief to finally get some experience and get comfortable at work.
The first of many patients, I'm sure! All those nurses must be wifes or mom to know to take the "first" picture!

Good for you Sam! I bet it feels nice not to just watch others do what you know how to do. I'm glad you got a picture of it too!
